Nancy Bevers

May 7, 1943 - November 24, 2024

Fort Worth, Texas - Nancy Lou Bevers, 81, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at her home.

The service will be held on Friday, November 29th at 2:00 P.M. in Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel in Mineral Wells, followed by interment at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Nancy was born May 7, 1943, in Mineral Wells, the daughter of William Oliver and Lou Wood Baggett. She married Kenneth Bevers in 1961 in Oran. She had lived in Fort Worth since 1964 and worked for Montgomery Ward for 23 years. She especially enjoyed gardening, restoring vintage homes, and visiting with her wonderful neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Diane Bevers of Houston; precious grandchildren, Lindsay and Mikey Bevers; sister, Marcia Swan of Jacksboro; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Lavesta Baggett of Gail; sister-in-law, Joy Crow of Graford; and several wonderful nieces and nephews.

Her family extends their appreciation and special thanks to Charlotte Baggett; Nancy's wonderful neighbor "family," Sheila, Elik, Mary and Randy; Dr. Allan Kelly for his excellent care and always going above and beyond; Alma Bravo; Sheila and Jennifer from Valor Hospice; and the incredible team at HomeWell Care Services, Kanesha, Cynthia, Imma and Comfort.

Mike, deepest sympathies on the loss of your mom. I remember visiting with her when she worked at Wards. I shared that we were classmates at TWC. She was so very proud of you. Wishing you peace and comfort during this very sad time.
