Nancy Guilliams Bradley, age 82, of Rocky Mount, passed through the gates of Heaven on February 7, 2026, after a long courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was born to Thelmo (John) and Minnie Guilliams, on October 24, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann and Henry Webb; Barbara and Glenn Randleman, Erma Custer and a very special Grandson, Adam Willie.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Compton (Darryl) of Floyd and Jeffrey Bernard (Danene) of Callaway; 3 grandchildren, Josh and Erin Bernard, Deanna and Alex Barceló, and Emily and Billy White. She also is survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Hudson, Finley and Micah Bernard, Mia Lilly, and Amelia Barceló, Jocelyn and Grady Smith, Carson Willie, Oliver and Vinny Young; and awaiting the arrival of an additional baby girl in April. Nancy also is survived by many nieces, and nephews which she loved dearly especially, Vicki Cook.

Nancy was a lifetime member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Callaway, where she served as treasurer, choir member and loyal servant to Jesus Christ. Nancy worked for the Franklin County School System for 34 years and was very proud of her service to the children in this county. She had many friends in her employment which she considered as family over the years. She greatly enjoyed bluegrass music and travelling the dance circuit with her many special friends. She loved babies, and was very interested in her many great-grandchildren and enjoyed watching as they grew. She loved going to their sporting events and other activities.

The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Mae Conner, Doris Davis, and Carolyn Mattox who provided her with their loving care through this journey. Special thanks also goes to the staff of Carilion Hospice of Franklin County for their exceptional care, especially Hannah Caller, Sabrina Reeves and Helen Wilcox.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 11 at 3:00 PM from St. Peters Episcopal Church with The Reverend John Heck officiating. Inurnment will be in the Church Columbarium. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM at the church. A meal will be held at Phoebe Needles Conference Center, 732 Turners Creek Rd, Callaway, VA, following the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you consider a donation in Nancy’s name to either St. Peters Episcopal Church Endowment Fund or The Phoebe Needles Conference Center, 732 Turner’s Creek Road, Callaway, VA 24067
