Nancy Brey Obituary
Nancy B. Brey, 88, of Davenport, Florida passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania to Lester E. and Laura Miller Bender. Nancy moved to Florida 22 years ago from Emmaus, Pennsylvania, she worked as an assembler for AT&T and later became a housewife, dedicating her time to her loving husband and family. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania.
Nancy enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, going to the beach, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul, impeccably dressed, classy, sophisticated, vivacious, willed woman, and strong woman, who loved life. She was known for her outgoing and gregarious personality, always deriving her energy and joy from connecting with others, chatting and finding out all about them. She was loved by everyone and was never too shy to socialize with anyone.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 66 years, Harry J. Brey; daughter, Tione Kalafian and husband, Mark; son, Scott Brey and wife, Lori; sister, Sharon Kennedy; grandchildren, Isabella, Mark, Dillon, Jonathan and Rachel; and great grandchildren, Julia, Vinnie, Evelyn and Georgio. She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends and family at 2:00 p.m. all at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Florida.
