Nancy H. Brownrigg, passed away Monday evening, June 20, 2022 at her home at Terrace Place. She was 91 years old.
Nancy was born on June 30, 1930 in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of Howard and Gladys (Durgy) Hulett. She graduated from J. Sterling Morton High School in Cicero, IL in 1948 and went on to study at Hanover College in IN.
On September 30, 1950, she was united in marriage with John P. Brownrigg in Berwyn, IL. The two made Sheboygan their home where they raised their 3 children. John preceded her in death in 2016 after 65 years of marriage.
For 12 years, Nancy worked as a teachers aide at Sheboygan Falls Elementary School. Nancy was a member of St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, sewing, landscaping, and gardening. Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Deborah (Tom) Heier of Kiel and Melinda (Charles) Malingowski of Sheboygan Falls, and son Brock (Lynn) Brownrigg of Elkhart Lake. She is further survived by ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband John, parents, and sister Mazie Sappenfield.
A private family gathering to celebrate her life will be held later this summer.
