Nancy Burditt Obituary

Nancy Louise Burditt (nee Paulson), born on January 1, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She was a beloved figure to all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and devotion.

She attended various schools including Victory Elementary, A.E. Burdick, Three Lakes, Horace Mann Junior High, and graduated from West Allis Central High in 1955. She approached her role with a servant's heart, always eager to help others in any way she could. Those fortunate enough to have known her can attest to her gentle spirit and unwavering support for her family and friends. Nancy dedicated many years of her life to serving the community through her work in the school system.

Nancy was a loving wife and best friend to the late Leonard Burditt, whom she missed deeply after his passing. She is survived by her cherished children, Mark (Diana) Burditt and Jean (Don) Brandt. She took immense pride in her role as grandma to Becca (Steve) Stanton, John (Lauren) Burditt, Dan (Emily) Burditt, Rachel (Fiancé Joey Blaskowski), and Nathan Brandt, and she celebrated her status as great-grandma to Lilly, Joel, Elly, Nova and Liam.

In addition to her immediate family, Nancy is also remembered as a dear sister to Greg (Carol) Paulson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and many others who loved and admired her throughout her life.

Nancy had a profound love for birds and nature, which brought her joy and serenity. Her life was a testament to love, warmth, and compassion, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Nancy's life at a memorial gathering on October 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM. Both events will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel, located at 4747 S. 60th Street, Greenfield, WI 53220. The family would like to thank Synergy Home Care, Aurora Palliative Care, Aurora Zilber Family Hospice and Hales Corners Lutheran Ministries for the compassionate care they provided to Nancy. Flowers are welcome, or memorials to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice appreciated.

Nancy's life was a beautiful example of faith in Jesus Christ, humility, kindness, and dedication. She will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by all who were touched by her life.
