Nancy A. Caldeira

Nancy A. ( Gough) Caldeira, 88 of Bloomfield passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was born on December 30, 1929 to the late William T. Gough and Elsie (Ostertag) Gough in Hartford, CT. She later met and married Joseph V. Caldeira Jr. to this union three children born, Glenda , Arleen and Joseph III. Family was the focus and joy of her life, she was always involved with her children's activities and became just as active in her grandchildren's activities.She worked for the Bloomfield School Food and Service Department for many years and also worked in retail positions. She enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and bowled in a local league, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was married to her husband for over 55 years before he passed in 2015, she is also predeceased by six sisters and three brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Glenda Salonia, of Berlin, Arleen Carrasquillo (Frank), of Manchester and Joseph V. Caldeira III of West Suffield; sister, Barbara Dahlman, of South Windsor; brother Kenneth Gough of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Michael, Matthew,and Christian Carrasquillo, Ashley(Salonia) Bassett, Andrew Caldeira, five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 4:00 pm with calling hours from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Carmon Funeral Home 807 Bloomfied Ave. Windsor, CT
