Nancy L. Callison, 93 of Piqua, Ohio passed away peacefully at Upper Valley Medical Center on March 8, 2026 following a short illness. Nancy was born May 28,1932, in Piqua Ohio to the late Leo and Wilma "Boots" (McMaken) Kraus. Nancy married Richard "Dick" Callison October 31, 1953 and he preceded her in death on May 14,2017. She is survived by Son Rick (Lydia) Callison, and daughters Jill Williams and Jana (Bill) Bigham, Grandchildren Kevin Callison (Chris), Ryan Callison (Emily), Carson Williams, Taylor (Rachel Williams) Bigham, and Calli Bigham, Great grandchildren Jackson and Corbin Callison and three nieces Roni,Kera and Jami. In addition to her husband and parents Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Shirley, and grandson Nicholas.

Nancy began a long career in nursing after graduation from Christ Hospital in Cincinnati in 1953. She worked as a maternity nurse at Piqua Memorial Hospital for several years before becoming a Piqua City School nurse in 1972 and left after 26 years in the spring of 1998. In 2003 after a short retirement she became a part time nurse at Garbry Ridge for five years, a place she loved and would eventually become her final home. Nancy was a member of Greene Street Methodist Church. Nancy loved spending time with her family, playing golf, and traveling with her husband. Nancy did not want a formal ceremony, she wished to donate her body to medical research and be cremated. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
