Nancy Louise Campana, passed away at her home in Burlingame on Tuesday, February 3. Nancy was born in 1942 at the French Hospital in San Francisco to Henry and Jeannette Lestrade. Nancy attended Lincoln High School in San Francisco before graduating from the University of California, Berkley with a French degree. Nancy became a certified public accountant and was the Controller for Matson & Company for many years. In her retirement, she volunteered at many organizations including Lucile Packard, Mission Hospice and Filoli. She enjoyed her book club, socializing with friends and spending time at her home in Napa. Nancy loved traveling with her husband, Bill, and spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William; her children, Mark Campana (Adele), Suzanne Oliver (Todd) and Ronald Campana (Alicia); nine grandchildren; and her sister, Nadine Margoles (Gary). She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jeannette Lestrade.
A Rosary service will be held Monday, February 9, 7pm, viewing beginning at 6pm, at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's funeral home, 977 El Camino Real, San Mateo. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 10, 10am, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1310 Bayswater Avenue, Burlingame. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to UCSF Glioblastoma research, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
