Nancy Lee Cogdill

Nancy Lee Cogdill, 71, of Sweetwater, passed away February 7, 2024, peacefully surrounded by her family, after a long illness. Nancy was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on July 29, 1952, to Howard and Francis Davis. Nancy married the love of her life, Charles Edward Cogdill on October 28, 1967. A marriage that lasted 56 years. Nancy retired from Warner Lambert in 1993 and then helped her son, Mark, at 68 Car Care until 2016. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, cook-outs, playing cards with family and going on family trips. Nancy loved the holidays with family gatherings (Christmas was her favorite). She was wise beyond her years and always ready to help anyone in need.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her sisters, Judy and Sandy, brothers-in-law, Ronnie, William (Billy), Lewis Cogdill and Roy Hall, as well as her sisters-in-law, Deborah and Geanna Cogdill.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Charles Edward, sons, Jamie (Tammie), Mark, and Brian Cogdill. Her grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Ashley, Marshal, Izabella, Xavier and Memphis, her great grandchildren, Elijah, Aidyn, Brantley, Olivia, Noah, McKinley, Elliana, Jaxson and Case. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Mary and Timothy Lawrence, Larry Kasiba, and Carol Baetschi, brothers-in-law, Jimmy and Elvina, Leslie and Elaine, Marvin, and Leon. Sisters-in-law, Nancy Hall, Tabitha and Timothy Powers, numerous nieces, and nephews.
A special thank you to her baby sister, Carol, who never left her side. She will be loved and missed dearly by family, friends, and her cat, Tinker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm in the Sweetwater Memory Chapel. Funeral Service will begin immediately after the visitation at 2:00 PM. Preacher Scottie Baels will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Springs Cemetery.
