My wife Sandi and I send our Prayers for the Peace that Passeth Understanding on the passing of Sen. Nancy Cook.
Nancy was a remarkable woman, truly a trailblazer, who accomplished so much. I was fortunate, privileged to have met her 51 years ago in April, newly arrived for the Delaware News Journal papers covering the General Assembly, the Governor and Delaware politics / elections as Nancy was "coming into her own!" Delaware is a better place because of Nancy's service to our state.
Our condolences go out to Tom, who I've also come to know well over the decades, and her survivors. RIP.
