Dear Harvey Drew,

My heart goes out to you and your family at this sad time. As you know, Tom's mother had the same illness for about 15 years and it was a very sad and difficult time for all of us.

Your friends at Wilson's "coffee table" have watched you through the years handle Nancy's illness, yes with sadness, but also with strength and sincere love. It was a beautiful thing to witness.

Life has handed me some challenges too, but none as heartbreaking as losing my Tom. I know you don't believe it now, but it will get a little better with time. My advice is to let the host of friends you have and a loving family provide the support you need.

Whatever you do, don't forget to take care of yourself. All the prayers going up for you and the Good Man Upstairs will do the rest.
