Nancy Dannemiller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Homes on Jan. 20, 2025.
Nancy Dannemiller, age 96, of Dalton, GA, and Marlboro, VT, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025.
Nancy was born in Prospect Park, NY. She was a graduate of Mary Mount College in Manhattan. She was married to her childhood sweetheart for 65 years. Nancy was an avid horsewoman all her life. She loved being involved with the young riders. She was generous with her knowledge. Mom always included everyone, especially when the hot dogs were passed out. Mom organized square dances and taught us sailing, skiing, swimming, and horseback. Her fondest memories are of all of us celebrating the 4th of July with flags and patriotic music. She loved Vermont and Country.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Dannemiller, Sr.; sisters, Virginia Brennan, Joan Reynolds, Margaret Brodie, and Rita Gormley; and brother, Donald McDonough.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Virginia and Kirk Malerbi of Cohutta; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Mary Dannemiller Jr. of Milton, GA, Richard James Dannemiller II of Baytown, TX, Edward I. and Loretta Dannemiller of Largo, FL, Donald F. and Kathy Dannemiller of Loveland, OH, and Douglas Joseph and Khristina Dannemiller of Duxbury, MA; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
A mass of remembrance will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2:00pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (968 Haig Mill Lake Rd, Dalton, GA 30720).
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Friday, January 24 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM.
Burial will be held at Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph, VT
