Nancy DeForrest Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arlington Mortuary on Mar. 22, 2025.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nancy Lee DeForrest, who peacefully entered the presence of our Lord in her sleep at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Carl James DeForrest.
Nancy was an only child born on July 1, 1936, in Los Angeles, California, to Karl and Thelma Meyer. A devoted mother, Nancy raised four children-Lloyd, Ron, Keith, and Nicole-with an abundance of love and selflessness. Her legacy lives on through her children, as well as her five grandchildren: Keith Jr, Jennet, Alec, Jeremy, and Heather, her five great-grandchildren: Levi, Elijah, Ethan, Andrew, and Jessie, and her great-great-grandchild, Henry.
Nancy's love for her family knew no bounds. Whether creating cherished family photo calendars, caring for her grandchildren, or volunteering at her church and her children and grandchildren's schools, she was a constant source of love, support, and encouragement. Her unwavering devotion to her family and her resilience were hallmarks of her life.
Though she will be deeply missed, Nancy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the beautiful example of devotion she set for all.
Nancy lived a life filled with love, commitment, and resilience, and she will never be forgotten.
