My life is blessed just knowing you my friend! I miss you.

Its hard to believe 2 years have gone! I miss Nancy often, and Madison. It helps to know they are together, and at peace.
I remember stopping by Nancy, and Allyn's - greeted by Maddie at the front door. The house was always lovely, and so welcoming. I often thought, the Easter's home wasn't a place, but a feeling. A new family lives there now on North Jamestown, but I think that "Nancy vibe" lives on.
I remember when Nancy would stop at a local thrift store, and buy a stuffed toy for Madison. They would play; Madison would run up and down the hall teasing Nancy. I remember standing in front of Nancy's kitchen window. Depending upon the season, flowers would be in bloom, and the flag would be hanging proudly. If you looked to the right of Nancy's sink, you would see her calendar hanging; reminding her of the commitments she had made. Volunteering at the Christi House in Sewickley, bible study, bake cookies and choir practice. Nancy was a very giving person; this made her so happy. The gift of her friendship remains true; I have been blessed!
One last thing: When I hear this one verse in a song, I think of Nancy. "How wonderful life is while you're in the world". I love you my friends, Nancy and Madison.

"There is a road, no single highway
between the dusk and the dark of night.
And when you go, no one may follow;
that path is for...your steps alone".

My deepest sympathy to Allyn and Madison, and the entire family - plus all friends. Nancy touched so many lives; she made the world a better place. Nancy will be terribly missed. It has been raining for the last two days; I think the world is crying.
