Born on May 29, 1947, Nancy’s life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family and friends.
Nancy was renowned for her extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Her home was a sanctuary filled with an abundance of food and warmth, where she would often say that if anyone left her table hungry, it was truly their own fault. Known as everyone's honorary mom, she opened her heart and home to all who crossed her threshold, ensuring that no one ever felt like a stranger. This spirit of generosity and connection defined her personality; she was very smart and loved everyone, embodying the very essence of kindness.
In her leisure time, Nancy found immense joy in spending time at the lake with her family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. She also enjoyed engaging with her friends at the VFW, where camaraderie and shared stories flourished. Her passion for genealogy was another area where Nancy shined, as she delved into her family's history alongside her dear cousin Rita. Always on the go, her vibrant energy and zest for life were an inspiration to those around her.
Nancy is survived by her children, Annette Sweigart and William "Bill" Erbaugh, her grandchildren, Austin Sweigart, Jenna Sweigart, and Alyssa Olds, three great-grandchildren, her sister, Patty Ferrell, brother-in-law John Erbaugh, and sister-in-law Debbie O'Brien.
She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband of 32 years, Paul Erbaugh, her parents Richard and Mary Fair, her brother Richard Fair II and sisters-in-law Ruth and Naomi.
As we reflect on her life, we hold close the precious memories that Nancy created and shared with us all, honoring her legacy of love and connection. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts as a guiding light, reminding us of the importance of family, friendship, and the simple acts of kindness that leave lasting impressions.
