Nancy Kay (Engle) Fain, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 1:00 AM at Erwin Healthcare Center. Nancy was born on September 30, 1946 in Erwin, TN to parents Guy and Lois Elizabeth (Harvey) Engle. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nancy was of the Christian faith and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Engle and father, Guy "Grizz" Engle.
Nancy Kay (Engle) Fain has left behind to cherish her memory: beloved husband of more than 61 years, Richard Allen Fain; Children: Christopher Fain (April), Andrew Fain; grandchildren: Nicholas Fain, Jacob Fain (Haley Bunn), Samuel Fain (Alicia Ridenour); and brother, Stephen Scott Engle.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice, SOFHA Home Health, Johnson City Medical Center and The Greens at Erwin Healthcare Center for their kindness and care during this difficult time.
Private services were conducted.
