Nancy and I share the same last name (my maiden name) and would be about the same age. I was in MO awaiting the birth of my grandson when this horrific act occurred.
I am so sorry for your loss and am praying for God's peace that surpasses all understanding to surround you today and always.

Not only are you missed and will be missed by people, just think of all of the kitty's that miss you too. I will remember you this Christmas time when the Hudson County Animal League displays it's beautiful Christmas tree in the Bayonne Library. There I will place an ornament with your name on it in rememberance of your kindness to animals. May you rest in peace, and may God grant your family comfort in your absence. I too was born and raised in Jersey City, was there on 9/11, and love cats. So I feel we're family. All of the families of America miss you. God Bless.

Hi Nancy...even though its been 7 years it seems like yesterday. You and Bobby were friends w/my brother Dennis. You left Your Yankee cap in my old apartment a few days before this horrible event that took you away . Even though we never met I always think of you when the thought of 911 comes to mind. God Bless you.

To the family of Nancy

I knew Nancy "from the neighborhood" for about 15 years. We met when she interviewed for a job in Hoboken and hooked up in Jersey City about 7 years later. We used to get together at some local stops. We both worked in the Reinsurance industry and used to know a lot of the same people through work and outside. Nancy was the best, always with a smile and a hello and she would have the best gossip. I still miss her and think of her often. She was definitely "one of the best".

We knew Nancy & Bobby when we lived in Jersey City. She had a good heart, good sense of humor and was a true lady. Her love of life and kindness will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences to Bobby and her family. Somewhere in heaven she is still taking care of the kittens. God Bless You Always! You are sorely missed and forever in our thoughts.

We share a common last name, and a love for animals. My wife and I have dogs and cats that we have picked up and cared for. We pray that the Lord will bless this country and protect it from its enemies. God bless your family.

I am an 8th grader at Presentation B.V.M. school. My school raised money to make a quilt for all of the victims of September eleventh. I was given Nancy's square on the quilt. I will always keep her in my thoughts and prayers every day.

I will also pray for her family. God bless you and give you the strength to go on. I'm sure Nancy would want you to be happy.

We Remember Them

From the Gates of Repentance

New Union Prayer Book for the Days of Awe

Author Unknown

At the rising of the sun and at its going down,

We remember them.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of Winter,

We remember them.

At the opening of buds and in the rebirth of Spring,

We remember them.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of Summer,

We remember them.

At the rustling of leaves and the beauty of Autumn,

We remember them.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends,

We remember them.

As long as we live, they too will live;

for they are now a part of us, as we remember them.

When we are weary and in need of strength,

We remember them.

When we are lost and sick at heart,

We remember them.

When we have joys we yearn to share,

We remember them.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make,

We remember them .

When we have achievements that are based on theirs,

We remember them.

As long as we live, they too shall live,

for they are a part of us, as we remember them.

In Loving Memory of our Beloved RSI Colleagues, Stephanie, Aida, Bob, Glenn, Bill, Nancy, Sandy, Joe

& all of the other innocents who were the first heroes in the this war on terrorism. May their sacrifices serve to strengthen our resolve, and may we never forget how they laughed and lived and worked and loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Dear Robert, I knew Nancy ever since

she came to Guy Carpenter from Wilcox. She was always a lot of fun, and I was sorry that I didn't

get to see her more often. When I did talk to her on the phone for business, she was always very helpful and friendly. You and your

family are in my thoughts and prayers now and always, Love, Barbara

We are deeply sorry for your loss of Nancy. May her kind heart, her life and love continue living in those who love her. May you always feel the warmth of her love radiate into your hearts. Our hearts cry with you in your loss of Nancy.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
