Nancy Fickle Obituary
June 23, 1939 – August 23, 2025
Nancy Fickle was born to Robert and Wilma Hayden. She and her brother Jack Hayden were raised in Lamont, California. She graduated from Arvin High in 1957.
She worked for the county of Kern for 30 years in various rolls but ended her career as a court clerk.
She was also a 30+ year member of the Eastern Star, Bakersfield chapter.
Nancy had been a loyal supporter and fan of the Bakersfield Condors since 2005. Before becoming a fan of the Condors it took a large amount of effort to convenience her to even go to a game. But at her first game it became a reunion of sorts for her as she would often run into old friends.
She has 3 children Kim Smalley, Terri Reed, and Allen Fickle, their spouses as well as 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren survive her.
Nancy moved from Bakersfield California to Spokane Washington in the summer of 2022 to be with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She lived a long and eventful life and she will be missed by all that knew her.

Kim, Terri and Allen, so sorry for your loss. I know that you have lots of great memories and hoping you rely on them during your time of mourning. I have been reflecting and we had fun wherever we went. We started out with Beulah, Shirla, Brenda, Nancy and me and a good time was had by all. The last place Nancy and I went to was church at Kern City Community Church and breakfast at the Bowling Alley afterward. Brenda and I were both at Nancy's house to say goodbye the day she moved to Washing. Love and prayers, Lois Jackson
