Nancy Meyer Garnto SUMMERVILLE - Nancy Meyer Garnto, 74, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of the late Rex Wierman entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 28, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow the service at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Nancy was born June 10, 1950, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Maurice Eugene Meyer, Jr. and the late Dorothy Postell Meyer. She enjoyed watching Christmas movies, the series Heartland, and listening to country music. Nancy loved animals, especially her dog, Titi. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by children: Melissia Melnick (John) of Daniel Island, SC, and Samantha Tracy of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren: Miranda Artz of Summerville, SC, Joshua Artz (Aly) of Goose Creek, SC, Hannah Bright of Charlotte, NC, Elijah Bright of Charlotte, NC, Meghan Artz of Summerville, SC, and Luke Tracy of Charlotte, NC; great-grandchildren: Trent'n Chinners, Marcus Melnick, Kirra Lackey, Karsyn Lackey, Hendrix Artz, and Elan Artz; siblings: Alleen Sweat (Ernest) of Landrum, SC, Marlene Dinardo (Mike) of Venice Beach, FL, and Gene Meyer (Kellie) of Awendaw, SC; nieces and nephews: David Sweat, Wayne Nall, Audra Hagadorn and Christopher Sweat. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, John C. Calhoun, III.
