Still think of Nancy and Denny often. Nancy was an amazingly strong woman who was an inspiration to many.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. I'd fill in as babysitter to DJ and Jimmy for my sister Rosemary, and Nancy was always so wonderfully kind, friendly & warm -- a loving wife & mother and a compassionate nurse. My sympathies to you Denny, DJ, Jim, and the Geis Family.
With sympathy,
Dana (Peta) Casale

As a high school sophomore, I began babysitting DJ, then Jimmy, when they were just toddlers. That job lasted until I went on to college, but my friendship with Nancy went on for decades. How she adored Denny, her boys and their families. I so enjoyed her yearly Christmas letters until her last one in December when even with her diagnosis, she remained so thoughtful and positive. Our deepest sympathy to Denny, DJ, Jim and their families. Rest in peace my friend.

It was my great honor and privilege to have worked with Nancy for so many years at St. Clair Hospital where she was a nurse then later case manager. What a wonderful, kindhearted person. So many patients benefitted over the years from her expertise, kindness, caring, devotion, and dedication to her work. She was truly gifted in that regard. My deepest condolences to Denny and the entire family who she loved so much.

I was saddened to hear of Nancy's passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Denny and their family.
Nancy and I were joined at the hip in Kindergarten through High School. We then lost touch in the years that followed, but I thought of her with much love over those years.
The world was a much better place with her in it. And I was a better person for having her as my friend.

My beloved Aunt Nancy who was and always will be loved. You will be missed by many. I will always cherish the memories I have of you, Uncle Denny and the family and friends that always gathered. I especially will cherish the last visit you and Uncle Denny made. I'm so glad I was able to prepare a meal for everyone to gather together and share. I was finally able to provide for you as you always did for everyone else. Love always!!!

We met Nancy when our boys were young in Tidioute where we both had camps. I liked her the first time we met, and she's been like a sister to me ever since. I will miss her dearly! We laughed together & cried together. Rest In Peace my dear friend! Memory Eternal
