Tomorrow at noon we will celebrate the life of a very special
Person dear to my families life . She was my "God Mother "
But so much more . She was my mothers best friend since 2nd
Grade and as I wrote in the obit she took this role very seriously .
She held the people she loved very close to her heart and we spent our Easters together, our Christmas Eves together and so many New Years and Birthdays and all of these somehow she made extra special . I loved her with all my heart and soul.
These last few years have been difficult health wise but she got out of that bed a few days ago and Jim and my mother Marcia and Billy And Monroe and Sally and Madeline and Jake and her mother and Daddy and so many other people who loved her were anxiously waiting for her to liven things up . We will miss her dearly but she is happy and healthy now . Somehow she made every person who cared about her feel special . My husband got the second mother he never had and my children adored her as I'm sure so many other people did .
Until we,see you again , We will love you forever.

My dad, Tex Elliott, who is also Ott Elliotts brother, but was not mentioned in her obituary, will also cherish the times he spent with Jim and Nancy. He lived attending her dinner parties and time they spent at the river oaks. I will always hold a special place for her since I was named after her.

I am sadden to hear of Nancy's passing. Her and Jim were very dear to my family's hearts. She always brought a touch of grace whenever she was present. All that knew her will miss her dearly. I find peace knowing Uncle Jim and my parents will be there to greet her in heaven.

Nancy will remain forever dear in my heart.
Although I was her cousin, she always introduced me as her niece, and I loved her for that.
She was like a second Mother to me and we spent many hours talking the night away. I treasure each and every moment we spent together.
She was charming, sharp, and very witty. Her dinner parties were fabulous, themed and carefully thought out. Her cooking was beyond compare, I always looked forward to her Oysters Rockefeller!
Heaven has gained a new Angel, am sure she is planning something fabulous up there! Beautiful, I will always love you. Rest In Peace... Lori

I have lost a precious individual from my life. The years went too fast. She showed me her way of life and I shared mine with her. Ms Harrell loved seeing my children grow and then being there when my grandchildren came along.
I learned so much from her. She turned heads when she walked into a room. She was one classy lady! I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life.

I'm sorry for your loss. The Bible tells us at John 17:3 "this means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ" thus giving us a for the future. Take comfort in the Bible and it's God given message.
