January 11,1948-November 30, 2025

Nancy Marie Harris, 77, of Buxton, Maine, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine, on November 30, 2025.

Nancy was born January 11,1948, in Lynn, MA to Percy Eugene Newbury (nickname Buddy) and Evelyn Marie (Welch) Newbury. Nancy was married to Kenneth Harris for 56 years. He passed away in 2022.

She is survived by her son Dana Harris, 56, daughter Laura Harris, 55; grandsons Jacob Foss, 26, and Jared Foss, 25; granddaughters Nicole Harris, Kim Harris, Evie Harris; great granddaughters Chloe and Angelina. Nancy has a sister Karen Patrikas, 74, from Lynn, Massachusetts, a niece Melissa Patrikas, and a nephew Christopher Patrikas.

Nancy graduated from Lynn English High School. She was a stenographer secretary at an insurance company for years. She also worked at a daycare for a short time, and L.L. Bean.

Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren, and she always had the best Memes famous parties for birthdays and holidays. She loved angels, flowers, collecting heart shaped rocks, going to the thrift stores and antiquing finding treasures. She enjoyed spending time with Oscar (our cat), and she also loved to sit outside and watch the chipmunks and birds sitting on her favorite bench that her husband Ken gave her years ago. She would be so happy and had a big smile whenever she saw Cardinals. Nancy also really enjoyed going to Dunkin Donuts. Her favorite thing to get there was a chocolate glazed doughnut, and a mocha frozen coffee with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. She had a favorite pocket book that she carried everywhere. Even when it was time for bed, she made sure her pocketbook was right there next to her. She never left it out of her sight; her purse was a part of her.

She will be missed so much!
