My First Memroy Of nancy was when my grandma used to go to the her docter and i used to ask her lots of qustions becasue i wanted to a docter

Her life was takened too soon , yet she gave life and hope to so many in the short time she had. Sincere condolences to the immediate, extended and Galveston friends family and clients!

She is a great Dr. &will be missed dearly my sympathy & prayers to her family.

Dr Nancy Hughes was a great doctor that helped so many people with her knowledge and skills. She was a wonderful asset to the Galveston community. She opened her own office after IKE and that is where I really got to appreciate her even more. She cared for my family in a caring and compassionate manner. I sure enjoyed knowing and working with her and wish all happy memories at this time.

Truly our sincere and devastated thoughts and prayers are with, as we affectionately called her, Dr. Nancy's family, staff, Patience's and friends. She was an amazing person and doctor. We have all lost from this tragedy, the heavens have received a sweet angel. We are so sorry for this loss.

So very sorry to hear about Nancy. I have wonderful memories of playing quartet at Mike and Nancy´s home while I was a medical student and think so often of those times. It is impossible to reconcile the random nature of events and pray for Mike and his family.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hughes since I moved here five years ago. She was a wonderful doctor who was never in a hurry when you had an appointment with her. She even called me at home once with some test results after hours. Who has time to do that? She will always be missed but she leaves her legacy of being such a fine doctor and person. My sincere condolences to her family. May the wonderful memories always keep her close to you all.

My heart is broken. What an amazing woman and physician she was. First she was a nurse and then became a physician following in her father´s footsteps. She was the epitome of what a medical doctor should be. I am humbled and proud to have known such an amazing, caring, physician, wife and mother. God please take her into your arms, so that she may look down upon us and watch over us for eternity.

Nancy made every time interacting with her a poetic experience. Mike and Nancy gave Helen / J.D. the support she needed during their difficult time . You have all our prayers and thoughts. Blake was a pt of Nancy the only M D he had in faith in . Sadly Sadly will be missed. A Wisteria planted in her name they bloom every March !

What a wonderful doctor and an even better human being. Dr. Hughes has been our family physician for many years. She always gave you her full and undivided attention and motherly care. She and her staff have become like family. Her kind and generous spirit has left an everlasting impression on this community. Our sincere condolences are with her staff, friends and family. We are truly heartbroken over this tragedy. Rest In Peace dear lady. We miss you terribly.

To say that Dr. Hughes was a rock would never be enough, she was my doctor for 25 years and helped me through so much not only illness. Her kindness and gentle spirit will live on in those who Kew and loved her. The world has sent another angel to heaven.

Nancy will be missed by all. She was not only a good friend of my family but also provided excellent health care to them and so many others over the years. My heart goes out to Mike and the kids at this most sad time.

Nancy was our doctor and friend for over 9 years. She will forever be in our hearts and will serve as an inspiration to this community. Her compassion and love for her patients will forever be unmatched. We send love, peace, and healing and our deepest condolences to the entire Hughes family, staff and friends. Our hearts are breaking with you.

I meant Dr. Hughes when she was a medical student Utmb we became friends she became an eye doctor and every time I go in we´d have lots of good conversation she was truly loved by the community and everyone that knew her my prayers and thoughts go out to her family.

Nancy made the world a better place. She touched my heart. I will never forget her kindness, love and zest for life. I love you Nancy I know your shining down on us from heaven.

Nancy is my brother-in-laws sister. My prayers go out to her family members.

I called on Dr. Hughes for many years as a pharmaceutical representative. She was the kindest, most caring physician on whom I've ever called. Dr. Hughes always wanted to learn more, so that she could be the most well-informed advocate for her patients. I last saw her on Wednesday and was her usual cheerful self. Not only will I miss her, there will be a void in the community of all of the people who were blessed by her kindness and caring.

I miss you Dr. Hughes! You will be met with open arms in heaven and will keep spreading your genuine love to every one you meet, there.
