Nancy Ann Humphrey, born on June 24, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, in Noblesville, Indiana. She lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her love and spirited personality.
Nancy was known as the best mother, wife, and "Mamaw," embodying a loving and sassy nature that attracted countless people to her warm heart. She was a talented seamstress, dedicating her skills to creating Halloween costumes and prom dresses that brightened the lives of her loved ones. Additionally, she found joy in puzzles and playing cards, particularly euchre, activities that created memories of laughter among her family and friends. Traveling was another passion of hers, with Hawaii being her favorite destination.
As a long-time member of St. Jude's Catholic Church, Nancy’s devotion extended beyond her family, embracing everyone who crossed her path, often making them feel like family. Her love for the Indianapolis Colts was well-known, as she held season tickets at the RCA Dome, showcasing her unwavering support for her team.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Cari (David) Antoine and Kristi Humphrey, son Doug (Amanda) Humphrey, and her beloved grandchildren, Aayden, Ashten, Alexus, Easton, Addison, Sofia, and Delaney. Her great-grand daughter Phoenix. She is also survived by her bonus daughter, Kathy (Paul) Hanley, and bonus granddaughters, Madisyn and Zoey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Mary Bedwell, and her beloved husband, Neville Humphrey, with whom she shared over 53 years of marriage. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Visitation will be held on November 7, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis IN 46229.
Nancy Ann Humphrey’s legacy will endure through the love she cultivated, the lives she touched, and the family she cherished deeply.
