Nancy Jennings Obituary

Nancy M. Jennings, 77, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Norwich Rehab & Nursing Center-SNF, Norwich. She was born July 15, 1948, in Utica, a daughter of the late Laurence R. and Florence M. (Carroll) Jennings, Jr. She graduated from Nottingham High School and The State University of New York at Oswego, with her master's degree in education. Nancy taught seventh and eighth grade English for over 40 years in the Chittenango School District until her retirement. Nancy loved the Adirondacks, so following her retirement she moved to Inlet and later settled in Liverpool.
Surviving are her two brothers and sisters-in-law, Laurence S. and Donna Jennings of Sherburne, William M. and Steffani Jennings of Port Orange, FL; nieces and nephews, Mandi M. and Josh Zbydniewski, Chelsea M. and Billy Harrison, Ryan (Shannon) Brigham; grandnieces and nephews, Bentley Zbydniewski, Michaela Rose Harrison, Liam Harrison and Peyton Anne Brigham.
She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Laurence Jennings, a nephew, Michael W. Jennings, and niece, Alicia A. Brigham.
A celebration of Nancy's life is being planned for a later date and time.
Nancy was a breast cancer survivor, the family has request donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
Arrangements are in the care of the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Mian St., Sherburne, NY 13460.
