I got to know Nancy through my neighbor, Lee Halleck. I cannot begin to explain what a wonderful relationship these two had. Both caring for one another, both with wonderful families, and so sweet with one another. As their journey progressed, and Nancy's lack of physical instability increased, it was wonderful to see Lee holding Nancy's hand as they walked down to the dock for an ever occurring pontoon boat ride on the lake. They would cruise slowly, enjoying the peace of the lake and they would settle into "Carolyn's Cove" (named after my wife) for a leisurely lunch or snack. This happened several times a week. Lee had more boat hours on his pontoon boat than all of his neighbors boats combined... They were able to take approximately 8 ocean and land cruises during their years together... and never missed a Clemson football game cuddled on their couch at home.... Both of them are role models for future generations... true love and true caring for one another... we miss Nancy and her wonderful personality and spirit...
