Nancy Karcz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels and Cremation Services on Nov. 23, 2024.
Nancy Lee Karcz passed peacefully on Friday November 22nd, 2024, at the Suffield house. Nancy was born on December 22, 1937, in Hartford CT of Jeanette LeCourt.
She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother whose lively personality will be remembered by all.
She was the wife of the late David E. Karcz, who died in September of 1976. She grew up in Hartford CT and graduated from William Hall High School. She worked at Hallmark Cards of Enfield, CT for twenty-eight years, then retired and worked for the Enfield School System.
She had a passion for helping others and always volunteered her time when she could. You could find her on a bus trip with the other seniors heading to the casino, playing bingo or building puzzles at the senior center. She loved crocheting and crafting as well. She was a long-time member of the St. Adalbert's Church in Enfield, CT.
She leaves to remember with love her three daughters, Nancy Brocuglio and her late husband Tom of Enfield, Kathy Testoni and her husband Steve of Enfield and Lisa Monacchio and her husband John of Windsor Locks. Six grandchildren, T.J. Brocuglio and his wife Mackenzie of Enfield, Taylor Brocuglio of Virginia Beach, David Testoni of Windsor Locks, Rachel Testoni of Enfield, Mark LaBianca of Enfield and Timothy Gill of Enfield. Five great grandchildren, Harrison, Perry, Lennox, Dominic, Vincenzo and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at the Suffield House for their compassionate care and support provided to Nancy during her stay there.
Relatives and friends may join her family during calling hours on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
