Nancy Fay (Grant) Keill
Of Belmont, passed away peacefully in her residence on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was 91.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Emily Ann Kenny of Belmont, her sons John Michael Keill and his wife Patricia Ann of Waltham and Kenneth Ralph Keill and his partner Joan Cheney of Ft. Myers, FL, her sister Priscilla "Pat" Arone of Malden and her daughter in law Sharon Keill-Wilson of Billerica. She was predeceased by her sons James Mitchell Keill and David Thomas Keill as well as her grandson William "Billy" Hedrington and her brother Kenneth Grant. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The daughter of the late Ralph and Minnie (Cole) Grant, Nancy was born and raised in Belmont where she had been a lifelong resident. Upon graduating Belmont High School she enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably until her discharge as an Airman 3rd Class. Serving at the Headquarters of the 34th Air Division at Kirkland AFB in New Mexico she received the National Defense Service Medal.
Nancy thoroughly enjoyed working as a salesperson on the floor at the Filene's Department Store in Belmont Center for over 15 years. She had also been employed for several years at as an engraver at DRW Electronics.
An avid quilter she enjoyed watching old Hollywood movies.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service in celebration of her life on Wednesday, June 4th at 11AM at the Brasco and Sons Memorial, 325 Trapelo Road, BELMONT. Burial and Air Force Honors will follow in the family lot at Cambridge Cemetery
