Ms. Nancy Smith Kiser, age 88, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born June 15, 1933, in Davie County to the late Lizzie Sofley Smith and Wiley A. Smith. Ms. Kiser graduated from Griffith High School in 1951. She retired from the Veterans Administration and later worked for 20 years as a home health aide. Ms. Kiser is survived by one son, Jeffrey Kiser of Winston-Salem; one daughter, Tracy Coggins of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Alyssa Coggins and Anna Spivey (Robert); and three great-granddaughters, Caroline Plouffe, Harper Latham, and Olivia Spivey. A graveside service will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park at 12 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jamie with Hospice of Davidson County for the great care and compassion she gave to Ms. Kiser. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
