Nancy L. LaPrise, 81 of North Kingstown, RI, a devoted and beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grand mother passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday August 15,2025. She was born July 13,1944 in Wakefield, RI to Ernest H and Pauline I (Strickland) Golding, she was the sister of Rosalyn Oltedale and Ernest H Golding. Married to Edwin L LaPrise on February 24, 1962. Mother to LeeAnn L Bonneau (Robert), Edwin K LaPrise (Cynthia) and David LaPrise (Sheila). Grandmother to Elizabeth Brayton (Ben), Matthew LaPrise (Tiana), Alexandra LaPrise (Troy), Margaret Cole (Charles), Caroline Gathen (Aaron), Charlotte LaPrise (Jesse), Katherine Connors (Shawn), Joseph, Sophie, Connor, Brianna and Sheena. Great grandmother to Lillian, Henry, Matthew, Teddy, Ruby, Reagan, Ruthie, Parker, Charles, Lucas, Bryce, Ella. Aunt to Sarah Oltedale C Rowley (George) and Ernest H. Golding, IV (Laura).

She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family, watching baseball, going out on friday nights to dinner and shopping QVC. Most days, you could find her baking some of her iconic baked goods including rum balls, graham cracker squares, whoopie pies and magic cookie bars. She loved the holidays and had an extensive caroler and dept 56 collection. Passing on recipes, traditions and family mementos meant the most to her.

Funeral arrangements have been made privately, while all donations in her honor are to be made to the local RI 4H chapter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
