Nancy I. Lewanda

Nancy Irene Lewanda, 67, of Crestview FL, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023, due to a severe infection. She was surrounded by friends and family, and will be forever remembered.
Nancy was born on November 21, 1955 to Maximillian Stupar and June Chase in Tullahoma, TN. She is survived by Bruce Lewanda (Husband), Charlotte Aikens (Daughter), Elizabeth Helmer (Daughter), Timothy Lewanda (Son), Ellen Stupar (Sister), Linda Stupar (Sister), Buddy Stupar (Brother), Rocket (Dog)
Nancy was a beloved wife to her husband Bruce Lewanda for 36 years, and a loving Mother to her three children, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had an amazing artistic talent that she was very passionate about. She took her time with every project, knowing that the outcome would be outstanding. The difficulty level did not seem to matter.
Nancy drove a bus for Rocky Bayou Christian School to help pay for tuition so her kids could go to a private Christian school. She enjoyed cooking, drawing, painting, sewing, animals, video games, puzzles, chess, and cards. She shared a goofy sense of humor that would lighten anyone's mood. She had a unique and special personality that will always be remembered.
To honor Nancy's life, on Thursday November 9, 2023 a private burial for close friends and family will take place at Heritage Garden Funeral Home at 2:00PM. Additionally, a memorial service will be held at Forest Lake Bible Church in Niceville, FL at 3:30PM.
