Nancy L. (Racine) Maffei, 77, formerly of Worcester, MA died Friday, February 3 surrounded by her family in Melbourne, FL.

Nancy is now in Heaven with her husband Paul. She was the daughter of Joseph Racine and Anne (Kerrigan) Racine. Her sisters, Judy Flood and Bev Binienda, and brother Joseph Jr. Racine predeceased her.

She leaves her four sons, PJ Maffei of North Oxford, Rick Maffei and his wife Deb and their daughter Jenna of Melbourne Beach, FL, Dave Maffei and his wife Deb and their daughters Grace and Paige of Acton, MA, and Matt Maffei and his wife Keli and their daughters Madison and Brooke of Auburn, MA; her two closest friends Carol Tyler and Nancy Masterson and many special nephews and nieces.

Nancy was born in Worcester, MA. She was married to her best friend and companion for life, Paul, for over fifty years. Together, they raised four wonderful sons. Their journey took them from Worcester, MA to Glastonbury, CT and later to Southborough, MA before retiring to North Oxford and Melbourne Beach. Nancy made many wonderful friends no matter where she lived. She will cherish your friendship and all the good times and laughter.

Nancy had a beautiful smile and radiated joy with everyone she met. She truly epitomized what unconditional love is all about.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME located at 61 Myrtle Street in Worcester, MA. The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 11 with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Parish in North Oxford, MA followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery.
