Nancy grew up in the Coshocton area and was a 1964 graduate of Three Rivers High School at Roscoe Village. Nancy dearly loved serving the Lord and her congregation where she was active in their women’s ministry and their music ministry, both singing Gospel music and playing the bass in its Worship Team. A woman of deep faith, Nancy spent many years traveling the eastern part of the United States as part of “Maple Gospel”, bringing Gospel concerts to congregations and recording Gospel CDs. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who also enjoyed painting lovely works of art, including murals.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family which includes her children, Mic (Steph) Maple, Johnna (Dan) Ross, and Dalelynn (companion, Greg) Warne; grandchildren, Maddux, Makyah, Danny, Sienna, Kari, Shienna, Steffinee, and Bobby; several great-grandchildren; sister, Suzie Terry; brother, David (Jennifer) Boyer; a number of nieces and nephews; her former spouse, David L. Maple; and a large and loving church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virgil and Levada (Parks) Newell, and paternal grandparents, Leo and Myrtle (Lauvray) Boyer.
Pastor John Stevenson will officiate a 6:00 p.m. memorial service on Monday, December 8, at Bethel Worship Center, 634 N. Main St., Uhrichsville, OH 44683. Her family will receive callers at the church from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Worship Center.
