Laura, I am so sorry to read about your mom's passing.
She was a great lady. Your dad & my husband were best friends.
Our visits to their camp were always wonderful times. I have lots of pictures of you as a little girl, taken when Bea babysat you. If you want them, contact me at [email protected]. My condolences to your family. Jimi Haury

As a former classmate Nancy was intelligent and very popular at Harborcreek. We talked maybe a handful of times. It wasn't until many years later that our paths crossed when her and her husband Tim contacted me for furnace and air conditioning problems at their home and Ice Cream Store and then the camp in Grand Valley. It was always their dream to move to the camp. Sadly that opportunity never came about until Tim had passed. Nancy and I became friends as she continued to have me repair or check her furnace. She would periodically ask me and my wife to meet for dinner or breakfast as our camp was only 5 miles down the road from ours. She was proud of her skills as hunter. I had wondered how she was doing this past hunting season. Like many humans do, I procrastinated.
