Nancy Martir

WORCESTER___Nancy (Franceschi) Martir, 72, of Worcester passed away peacefully at home with her loved ones on Tuesday May 2, 2023.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 57 years Luis Martir, a daughter, Alicia Martir of Worcester; two sons, Adrian Martir of Connecticut and Jenemy Martir of Worcester; her granddaughter, Gwendalise Nancy Montes, three sisters, Yolanda Torres, Magda Guzman and Blanca Lugo, a brother, Jaime Franceschi, her aunt and Godmother, Cecilia Perez and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Nancy was born in Coco Solito, Panama, a daughter of the late Francisco Franceschi and Leonor Perez Bisbal Franceschi and has lived in Worcester since 1965. In addition to her parents Nancy was also predeceased by a son, Luis Martir and two sisters, Dominga Franceschi Montalvo and Silvia Franceschi.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. Nancy adored her mini twin granddaughter, Gwendalise. She enjoyed bingo and was an avid bingo player at Seven Hills. She loved to cook, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was an animal lover and loved her cat.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday May 9, 2023 with a service at 10:00 AM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
