Nancy Mehall Obituary
Born on May 22nd, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Jeanne Jordan, Nancy was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend and devoted member of the community. She graduated from St.Joseph's High School in South Bend, Indiana. She was known for her vibrant spirit, and unwavering kindness.
Nancy's life was a testament to her love for family, her dedication to her work and her passion for all sports, especially Notre Dame Football. She had an extensive career as an Assistant Vice President for AJ Smith bank for almost 35 years, where she was known for her knowledge and compassion. Nancy volunteered as an officer of the Midlothian Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, doing word puzzles and crafting.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Megan Mehall Schutt (Jim) son Luke Michael Norris (Erin), grandchildren Bryant (BJ), Lucy, Noah, and Amelia, her siblings Pat O'Connell, Barb (Don) O'Keefe, Kathy (Jim) Higgins, Mary (Joe) DeBiaggio, Tom (Bev) Jordan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas, mother Jeanne, and niece Bridget.
A Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, October 26th at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 147th St, Midlothian, IL 60445
A celebration of life Mass will be held at St. Christopher/St. Augustine Catholic Parish at 11:00 am on Monday October 27th 2025, 4130 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445.
Private interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, University of Notre Dame, South Bend Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Nancy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.html

So very sorry to hear this news. Nancy was the sweetest. I always enjoyed talking with her at reunions. Sending prayers to her family and special hugs to brother, Tom, who was my dear classmate.

I don´t know that God has put a kinder nor gentler person on this earth. Nancy was a high school classmate at Saint Joe. We did not keep in close contact, but the day before our 50th class reunion Nancy and a few others and I spent some time on Lake Michigan together. She was her same gregarious, unassuming self. And three weeks ago she and I were chatting on Facebook regarding her knee replacement and mine. She left us all to early in life. Rest in peace, Sweet Nancy.
