Nancy L Meiers-Knox

Nancy L. Meiers-Knox, age 67, of Appleton passed away on September 26, 2022. She was born to Harvey and Marilyn Meiers at Appleton Medical Center on November 15, 1954.
Nancy graduated from Appleton's Xaiver High School and went on to get her 2 year technical college degree for work. She worked at Zwickers Knitting Mills, Mills Supply office center and Meiers Builders.
Nancy married Carl G Knox on September 28, 1979 and lived in various places from Appleton, Neenah and Marathon, FL.
Nancy enjoyed Shawano Lake Cottage and her horses as a youth. When she met Carl she had 2 horses and a cat. Nancy and Carl bought a 40 acre parcel west of Neenah so she could have the love of her life with Terney and Sir. They both lived to be 28 and 34 respectively. As Carl and Nancy aged they found the need to cottage on Lake Winnebago, buy a condo in the Florida Keys to avoid Wisconsin winters.
In later years Nancy enjoyed sunsets and dinners out. The Nancy house was purchased to be close to the hospital. Before that 8 different houses were rehabbed. Nancy enjoyed doing boating and long drives.
Nancy is survived by her Husband Carl of 42 years and 363 days, her Brother Bruce (Linda) Meiers Appleton, WI, Mother-in-law Doris Knox of Oconto Falls, WI, Sister in laws Karen Arves (Scott) Prior Lake, MI, Connie Rosandich (Ryan) Duluth, MN, Brother in Law Kenneth Knox (Amy) Bayshore, WI, 10 Nieces and Nephews and 15 great Nieces and Nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 9:30am – 11:00am, with sharing of memories at 11.
