Nancy Kean Miller, age 92, died peacefully on November 16, 2025 with family by her side. Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her family including children David Miller (Wendy), Beth Baldwin (Steve), Linda Cloud, Kathy Hayden (Wally), & Chris Miller (Dawn); 12 grandchildren Kendall (Mike), Zachary (Paige), Erin (Jason), Jamie (Taylor), Haley (Kayla), Will, Christopher (Victoriana), Sarah (Jason), Alex (Skyler), Laura (Kyle), Matt (Summer), & Cody; and 10 great grandchildren Daniel, Cora, Eli, Blair, Arlyn, Mikey, Ressa, Brennan, Patrick, & Parker. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Billy Kenneth Miller; parents Raymond Kean and Nellie Cambell Kean; and brother Danny Kean.

Nancy was born in Cumberland, Md in 1933, graduated from Allegheny HS, and achieved her Registered Nursing degree, specializing in pediatric care. Nancy (and Bill) moved to Warrenton, Virginia in 1963 where she lived most of her adult life, transitioning to a full-time homemaker role for her expanding family. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Catholic Church and had many dear friends in Bethel Academy subdivision where she lived for 60 years.

Nancy was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her role as Grandmommy/Mimi. Her family was her most cherished possession and she was our biggest cheerleader. She loved every one of us unconditionally, often spending hours on the phone insisting on knowing details of our daily lives, offering encouraging feedback. The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to the compassionate caregivers at Evermore Senior Living, Fairfax Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Capital Caring Hospice. A private ceremony for family will be held to honor her life. The family requests any donations in Nancy's memory be made to Fauquier County Food Bank or to your local Hospice organization.
