Nancy J. Miller

Nancy Miller, age 79, of Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at UnityPoint Health in Peoria.
Nancy was born on June 2, 1943 in Peoria, IL to the late George W. and Virginia L. (Brown) Miller.
Surviving are Nancy's siblings, Beverly Cox of Chillicothe, Marilyn Gilman of Ottawa, IL, George (Teri) Miller of Peoria, IL and Johne Shelabarger of Mesa, AZ; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and her life partner and caregiver, Linda Lytle, of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother-in-laws, Robert Cox, Ed Gilman and Richard Shelabarger; and her niece, Tammy Kramer.
Nancy retired after many years of working in housekeeping for OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was active in athletics in her youth and she enjoyed playing pool and was active in bowling leagues. Nancy was also an animal lover and had many pets over the years. She is survived by fur-babies, Zeus, Ozzie, Venus, Pokey, Scooby Doo and Pepsi.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 3pm at Chillicothe City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her family to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
