Nancy Morris Obituary
Nancy Joy Morris, age 29, of Baxley passed away Monday, July 28, 2025.
Nancy was born on October 31, 1995 in Cuthbert, Georgia. She attended First Assembly of God, was in the young adult class, and enjoyed praise and worship. She worked as a waitress and was most recently employed with Southern Roost. Nancy’s greatest love in this world was her son, A. J., and she also had a love for music. She is preceded in death by her father, Jonathan Bradley Morris, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Aaron Joshua Morris; mother, Mary Morris; brother, Jonathan (Ashley) Morris, and nephew J. J. Morris. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God (3397 Hatch Pkwy N. Baxley, Georgia 31513) with Rev. Ronnie Rentz officiating.
Inurnment will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Nancy Joy Morris Memorial Fund (c/o Swain Funeral Home P.O. Box 207 Baxley, Georgia 31515).
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the time of service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
