Nancy Mueller passed away on December 12, 2023, in
Lincoln, Nebraska. Born in
Elizabeth, NJ on December 9, 1968, to Walter and Joyce (Southard) Barsnica. Nancy was an ambitious soul who embraced life with a zealous passion. She was a reliable pillar in her community, and her dedication stretched across her personal and professional life.
As a successful loan officer at Gershman Mortgage, Nancy was known for her unwavering commitment and diligence. She was a graduate of Maywood High School, Class of 1986, and later earned an associate degree from McCook Community College.
Nancy's love for the outdoors was only surpassed by the joy she found in spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Brad Mueller; daughter, Madison Mueller; siblings, Butch (Julie) Barsnica, Donna (Tyson) Bauer, Mark (Amy) Leth, Nicole Barsnica, Greg (Jamie) Barsnica, Mike Tutko, and Michelle Howell; along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held for Nancy at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 11:00am. Burial will follow the service at Omaha National Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
