Nancy Nasci Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Printy Funeral Home - Carthage on Sep. 10, 2024.
Nancy L (Keegan) Nasci, 86 of Carthage, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at her home at 12:30am surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born August 8, 1938, the daughter of Harold and Beulah M. (Lawson) Keegan in Keokuk, Iowa. She was raised by her mother Beulah and step-dad James Carter, of Quincy Illinois. She attended Quincy High School graduating in 1956. She was proud to be a Quincy Blue Devil and was known to say "Go Blue Devils!" often. Nancy attended Gem City College in Quincy and studied business. Nancy was united in marriage to James F Hudson in 1958 in Quincy and they had two sons, Brian and Curtis. She later married Lewis E. Nasci and they had a daughter Tanya. She lived in Albuquerque New Mexico for many years and then moved to Carthage for 34 years and had worked at First Community Bank from 1990 until retirement in 2012. Nancy was an accomplished artist in drawing and sketching and was of the Christian faith. Nancy lived a life filled with love, devotion and grace, always putting her family first and leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that will forever be cherished. Nancy had a way of saying exactly what was on her mind, and a blunt sense of humor that always made us laugh –honest and direct, but never unkind. Each Christmas we looked forward to the beautiful, hand-drawn paintings she gifted us, a reflection of her creativity and love. Nancy is survived by her children, Brian (Karen) Hudson and Curtis (Carmen) Hudson, both of Albuquerque NM and Tanya (Nathan) Reid of Carthage; grandchildren, Jamin Back, Angel Archuleta (Vinny Giarratano), Spring House (Matt Miller), Jared (Paige) MacDonald, Jordan MacDonald (Jericho Lukesh), Sharae Scott, Christopher Martinez, Brianna (Rhea) Flambeau, and Keegan Steinkamp; 20 great grandchildren with one on the way; 8 great great grandchildren with one on the way. 1 grand dog Milo. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Keegan, mother Beulah M. (Lawson) Carter, and step-father James Carter. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM November 16, 2024 at Oak Grove Cemetery north of Hamilton with a celebration of life immediately following at the Eagles Club in Carthage. Memorials may be made to the family. Printy Funeral Home
