Nancy Elaine Neipert of Lexington, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2026, in her home near Tanglewood, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family will be present for visitation on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home Giddings, Texas.

Nancy was born in Muscatine, Iowa, to Iradel and Dorothy (Teichmiller) Wright on April 25, 1948. She went to school in Muscatine, Iowa. She married Bob Neipert on September 8, 1967, in Muscatine. She graduated with a degree in Accounting from Buena Vista University. She was a Certified Optician working at Wolfe Eye Clinic and then as their Accountant. Nancy started a successful Mobile Dog Grooming company (Expressly Yours Mobile Grooming) in Round Rock, Texas. She retired after many years working as the accountant for Keal Cases in Round Rock.

Her passion was training and competing with labrador retrievers. She trained numerous dogs to the Master level, qualified several to run the Master National and Qualified several dogs at the Master National getting the pewter plate awards. She was inducted into the Master National Hall of Fame with her dog Skeeter.

Nancy was heavily involved in the Waterloo Amateur Retriever Club for 26 years, holding several officer positions and Hunt Test Secretary for numerous events.

Her other passion was Genealogy, which she pursued for 45 years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and traced her family to the revolution.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bob, her son Andrew, his wife Leslie and son Jason. She loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren, Liberty, Otto, Colette, Cassidy, Dagny and Talon.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Dorothy and brother Wayne Wright.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to the National Canine Cancer Foundation, (https://wearethecure.org/donations/), or to the charity of one's choice.
