Nancy Marie Osterberg, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023, in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Born on November 24, 1940, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Nancy touched the lives of many through her passion for literature and her kindhearted nature.
With an unwavering commitment to knowledge and learning, Nancy pursued higher education and earned a Master’s degree. Armed with a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the value of books, she embarked on a fulfilling career as a librarian.
Throughout her three decades in the field, Nancy left an indelible mark on the countless individuals who frequented the libraries she served. Her infectious love for books inspired both young and old to explore new worlds through literature. Nancy was renowned for her patience and willingness to assist anyone seeking knowledge or simply desiring a friendly conversation.
Beyond her professional achievements, Nancy found great joy and fulfillment in her personal life. She shared a loving partnership with her devoted husband Terry Lee Osterberg throughout their shared journey. Their bond was one built on mutual respect and deep admiration.
In addition to being survived by her sons Alex Eckert and Daniel Eckert, Nancy leaves behind numerous grandchildren who will forever be touched by her love and wisdom. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry Lee Osterberg.
As we bid farewell to Nancy, let us celebrate the remarkable life she led and the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be cherished, forever reminding us of the importance of love, compassion, and the enduring power of literature.
