Nancy Lee Pankey, age 92, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at Birch Meadows Senior Care. She was born on September 18, 1933, in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of LeRoy and Edith (Wood) Krugjohann.
Nancy spent 50 years in Pontiac, where she dedicated much of her life to her work and raising her family. She later moved to Florida for six years before settling into a cherished home on Clear Lake in the late 1980s. She enjoyed ten wonderful years there, surrounded by the water she loved so much. Nancy then moved to the family cabin in Mikado, Michigan, before returning to Three Rivers in 2019.
Nancy was known for her kind heart, her willingness to help others, and her steadfast dedication to doing things "by the book." She was thrifty, valued simplicity, and found great joy in an active life spent near the water. Her family and friends will remember her energy, and her generosity.
She is survived by her children, Roger (Jan) Pankey of Three Rivers, MI; Gwen (Jim) Jensen of Fenton, MI; and Glen (Sherri) Pankey of Howell, MI; along with seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Kruger.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093, has been entrusted with her care.
