Nancy Carol Eskew Pennington

Nancy Carol Eskew Pennington, 82, former courier for PCA Lab’s, and resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Peery officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. 

Born August 23, 1941 in Columbia, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Cleve Arden Eskew and the late Ara Frances McCanless Eskew. Mrs. Pennington loved horses and trail riding. She enjoyed farming and feeding her horses every day and riding in her Dodge 2500. One of her greatest pastimes was attending rodeos as a family, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Pennington was a faithful member of West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

 She is survived by her children, Jodie Pennington (Allen) Wollard, and Jacqui Pennington (Gary) Brown; grandchildren, Kristin “KC” Carrol Sanderson, Tanner Wayne Brown; sister, Sharon Gibbs; niece, Melony Carol Estes; and nephew, Ricky Rich. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Pennington.

Pallbearers will be David Gibbs, Nathan Scales, Jim Poling, Kevin Humphrey, Rickey Rich, Gary Brown, Tanner Brown.
