Nancy Maureen Pettitt

In loving memory Nancy Maureen Pettitt, 79, of California City, CA., went home to be with our lord and savior on November 6, 2025, at the 4 All Senior's Care Home in Palmdale CA.

She is proceeded in death by her son Gary Charles Emory and granddaughter Katelyn Maureen Emory.

She is survived by her husband Ray Pettitt, sons Steven Todd Emory (Chery) and Jason Emory (Stefanie), and daughter Jennifer Emory (Ray Hernandez of California City, Grandson Dustin Emory (Melita) of El Reno, OK. Also 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Sisters Linda, Susan, Carol, and Charlotte.

Nancy graduated from Mojave High School and became the Librarian of the Mojave Elementary School where she retired. She just loved helping all of the students to learn how to read. She loved to put a smile on their faces. She also loved to play the piano at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Mojave for many years. She loved her lord and Savior. She was dedicated to her children's sports. She loved selling Tupperware and Home Interior.

A viewing will be held at Woods Family Funeral Services at 321 W. F St. Tehachapi, CA. on November 17, 2025, at 4-6PM.

A memorial service will be held on November 18, 2025, at 10 AM at First Baptist Church 8770 Lupine Loop Dr. California City, CA with Pastor James Robinson Officiating the service.

A graveside service will be held at Mojave Cemetery, 2040 Belshaw St., Mojave, CA. Officiated by Armando Rivera.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Jake and Stefanie's home in California City for the reception.
