Stephenville Funeral Home - StephenvilleIn Loving Memory of Nancy Jeanette Lancaster Quade
Our beloved Meime, mother, aunt, and friend, passed peacefully from this life surrounded by love. Born in Galveston, Texas, she grew up with a bright spirit and a warm heart that would come to define her life. She graduated from Gustine High School in 1961 and soon after married the love of her life, Lyder, in 1963. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in faith, family, and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Lyder, her parents Bud and Bea Lancaster, her brother Kenneth, her sister Sandy Allen, brother in laws Butch Allen, Kenny Kosbab, Leo Shumski, Dave Wordan and Roger Shumski, sister in laws Carol Quade, Shari Wordan, and granddaughter Erica.
She is survived by her loving children — daughter Lynda Lowinski (Eric) , and sons John and Rhett (Stephanie) — along with her cherished grandchildren Bethany (Nathan), Emma (Dalton) and Jonathan. Step grand children Kimberly (Bill), Vickie (Eric), Preston, Reagan and several great-grandchildren, each of whom was blessed by her unwavering love.
Meime will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her steadfast devotion to those she loved. Her home was a haven — filled with good food, good stories, and open arms. She touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the countless hearts she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to guide and comfort those who loved her most.
A celebration of her life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, Stephenville, Texas on November 22 where family and friends will gather to honor the extraordinary woman who meant so much to us all.
