Nancy Scruggs

Nancy was my first real girlfriend. We were in high school together. She was two years younger. It was a formative time of life. After I went away to college and had been gone for a year, we decided to see other people. It was her idea, not mine. It broke my heart, but I believed that it was what was best for her at the time. We never reconnected after that. I am happy for those who had a chance to get to know her. She made a big and sweet impact on my adolescent life.

Nancy was the most beautiful, wonderful sole, happy, funny, and insightful. Nancy taught me to be a better person. I love her and she will always be in my heart and thoughts forever! Rest in the arms of your Angels my dear, sweet, best beloved friend.
