Private memorial services to celebrate the life of Nancy Norris Sexton, 77, of Anniston, will be held by the family at a later date.
Nancy passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at RMC in Anniston.
Preceding Nancy in death are her parents, Jessie and Mary Whitley Norris; her husband, Jack Kinney Sexton; her grandson, Dylan Kinney Sexton; her brothers, Michael Norris and Tim Norris; and her sister, Carolyn Harbin.
Left to cherish the memory of Nancy include her children, Kristie Goodson (Randy), Wendy Snyder (Michael), and Chad Sexton (Tanya); her grandchildren, Destiny Bostick (Andrew), John Snyder, Hunter Sexton, Whitley Snyder, and Deaken Sexton; her great-grandchildren, Adleigh Sexton, Hayden Helms, and Landyn Alexander; two siblings, Roger Norris (Beth) and Melanie Mowery (Jeff); a host of nieces and nephews; her best friend, Jane Smith (Dean); a very close cousin, Doug Deese (Carol); and numerous extended family.
Nancy was Methodist by faith and was devoted to her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a wonderful "Mawmaw". Nancy enjoyed watching college football and was a staunch Alabama fan. She enjoyed reading, especially the Harry Potter and Twilight series. In her spare time Nancy enjoyed playing Farkle and Yahtzee and spending time with her family.
